Leaf and Heidelberg joined forces to make a 2012 Calendar Launch, and the launching party was held on the 7 Feb 2012.




Leaf, as all we know, makes the high end digital backs capable of capturing the most amazing details and colors. While Heidelberg is the world leading print media possessing the skill and the technology to produce digital prints at the absolute level of mind blowing quality. With these two giants joined forces to make the 2012 Calendar, we can expect nothing but ultimate quality. I don't know where you can put your hands on the calendar, but I've been fortunate enough to grab one, and let me tell you, the calendar is absolutely stunning. Here are some sample shots which were used in the calendar printout, but of course they are displayed here in low resolution due to the forum limitation.









On top of it all, Leaf is now formally called MamiyaLeaf, in which they will continue to develop the Digital Back photography sector. Good news for those who pursue ultimate image quality. I look forward to seeing a market maturity in the DB sector with more people knowing the enormous power a digital back can deliver.
